Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones

Amanda is an advocate of personal self-development and inner growth which is one reason why she loves the Freezone Festival – it provides us with opportunities to expand and learn, face ourselves, our shadow sides, to play, to integrate, to connect with ourselves and other people.

Amanda has been offering Forest Bathing sessions to the general public and at festivals for several years.  Witnessing the tangible shift in people’s consciousness as they tune into their senses still provides her with awe and wonder. So effective are the techniques that she recently received funding from the National Lottery to expand her project offering adapted forest bathing sessions to carers so they can benefit from the positive evidence-based effects of spending time and slowing down in nature.  That project is called ‘Caring for Carers Nature Wellness Wanders’.

Workshop 1
Forest Bathing

Come and bathe in the atmospheric realm of the Gaunt’s House woods whilst being guided to connect with your senses, with nature and with yourself. Cultivate a sense of deep relaxation, groundedness and centeredness, all of which can also assist with the integration of the many workshops at Freezone.

Workshop 2

Chakra Balancing with Himalayan Kundalini Yoga

Amanda has been teaching breath-work focused classes for three years at the Amethyst cave in Bournemouth, having originally trained in the Himalayas. These practices have been transformational for herself and for her students. The combination of self sound-healing, Himalayan Kundalini yoga, Chi Gong, breath-work, mantras and mudras helps to cleanse and clarify the body of stagnant denser energies (created through trauma or negative experiences) and to balance, align and activate each chakra, creating more space for more inner light, resulting in a grounded and centred sense of self, an inner vitality and a glowing aura.
