Community is the heartbeat of The Big Freezone – we welcome you to become part of the ‘tribe within the tribe’ to help us to deliver on our phenomenal offering of positive vibes, personal growth, community connection and a whole lot of fun!

Our Volunteers are like-hearted souls who embody the Freezone values of Integrity, Willingness, Open- heartedness, Accountability and Community. Our volunteers are the face of the Big Freezone and our hope is that you will reflect our values in welcoming our guests with a warm demeanour and a sunny smile! (regardless of the weather!)

Your Commitment

• A total of 16 hours of volunteering over the course of the event (Likely 4 x 4 hour shifts depending on which role you perform)
• Availability for an online planning meeting a month before the event.
• Participation in onsite volunteer briefings 

In Return, you will receive:

• Free entry to the festival including access to our full programme of events. (please note holistic therapies not included)
• Free camping in the designated vollies camping area
•  1 free Vegan/ Vegetarian meal per shift
• Opportunity to be part of, and co-create a community of genuine, like minded souls
• Build your karma credit! All money raised by Freezone directly benefits the Freezone charity towards its future goals, find out more about this here

Volunteer roles available 

We need your help with the following:

• Feed people – serve them food/drinks, prep food/ drinks (we’ll need shifts covered between 29th May – 1st June)
• Greet guests: welcome guests and facilitators at the gates, direct them for setup, parking and camping (we’ll need shifts covered between 28th May and 1nd June to be agreed)
• Help lift heavy stuff: build our tents, venues etc (must be available for the Big Build weekend 18th and 19th May)
• Decorate venues, make signs and beautify site (must be available the weekend of 25th and 26th May)
• Help keep the site Loos clean; not the most glamorous role but does have smallest time commitment – this might suit someone with childcare commitments whilst at The Big Freezone
• Help raise money and provide information in our Freezone charity shop and info tent (we’ll need shifts covered between 29th May – 1st June)
