I’ve taught yoga and meditation for over 20 years mainly in the Poole-Bournemouth area, and also at retreats in Italy, Spain, Bali and Australia.
My spiritual journey started over three decades ago and took me to spend a lot of time in India and Bali. After training in a number of Hatha Yoga styles, I now like to focus my teaching on the simplicity of being.
Workshop 1
Yoga for your Body, Mind and Soul
‘YOGA’ means oneness, it means deepening the connection to your body, to your Self.
You’ll get to move and stretch and loosen your body, to deeply connect with every physical part of you. And more importantly, you’ll touch the space of inner calm, peace and relaxation which is within you and is so often overlooked and smothered by the busy-ness of everyday life. Using a simple approach to the asanas and breathing, you can get more in touch with your Self in the simplicity of each moment.
This session is suitable for all, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, you’re welcome if you can touch your toes and if you can’t…
Please bring a mat and a blanket.
Workshop 2
Easy Meditation for All Ages
Meditation is a simple act of Being and Not Doing. You don’t need to strain to ‘do meditation’ nor does your mind need to be ‘calm as a deep pool’ nor do you need to follow other such concepts.
It’s much simpler than that!
Because you already ARE and you just need to stop and allow yourself to BE.
Meditation is so needed in today’s world where we’re constantly being drawn out of ourselves with all the ‘must-dos’ and so many stimuli for our senses.
If you already meditate, come and share your experience. If not yet, come along and try it out.
All ages welcome.
