Geet Devnam 

My name is Andzelika (Geet Devnam). I am a qualified holistic & sports massage therapist and Kundalini Yoga teacher based in Christchurch in Dorset. I am passionate about empowering others to make positive changes to feel balanced through holistic treatments and yoga.

My path to Kundalini yoga started during my first Kundalini Yoga class  when I experienced Kundalini energy to the point I decided to follow that calling and completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. When I first came across Kundalini Yoga I was searching for an alternative method that works effectively to ease symptoms of trauma and PTSD. Kundalini Yoga works directly on the endocrine system bringing balance to body, mind and spirit. This holistic approach and effectiveness of Kundalini Yoga to restore glandular balance became something that intrigued me as it is a powerful technology of working through the body with emphasis on spirit to realize our true, inner potential.

I recharge best in nature and I believe outdoor location supports body`s healing abilities by nature resourcing therefore I often practise yoga on the beach or in the forest.

I also trained as a Cacao Ceremony Facilitator discovering a healing power of movement medicine. My journey was deeply influenced by 5 Rhythms and I share a passion for dancing being an Ecstatic dance enthusiast and attending conscious dance events.  I’m very grateful to be a part of Freezone teaching Kundalini yoga at festival again.

Workshop 1

Kundalini yoga – Movement Relaxation Series

This is a deeply soothing and restorative Kundalini Yoga workshop featuring the Movement Relaxation Series, a gentle yet powerful kriya designed to calm the emotions, release stress, and bring the body back into a state of ease. We begin by tuning in with mantra to center the mind and create a grounded, peaceful space. A light warm-up follows to awaken the spine, open the breath, and prepare the body for the flowing movements of the kriya. The Movement Relaxation Series guides you through rhythmic, flowing movements that gently dissolve tension from the muscles and nervous system. This medium-intensity, dance-inspired sequence encourages emotional release and helps clear stagnant energy, allowing the body to feel lighter and more open. As you move through the kriya, the combination of breath, motion, and rhythm helps quiet mental chatter, uplift the mood, and cultivate a deep sense of inner relaxation. The practice supports emotional balance by promoting softness, fluidity, and ease throughout the entire body.  We will complete the workshop with a deeply restorative relaxation supported by the soothing sound of the gong. Its healing vibration helps reset the nervous system, release residual tension, and encourage a profound sense of calm.                        

This workshop offers a nurturing blend of movement, breath, and stillness, ideal for releasing stress, calming the mind, and returning to a state of relaxed presence. Benefits include:

Workshop 2  

Kundalini yoga – Kriya to balance the min

The “Kriya to Balance the Mind” is a dynamic Kundalini Yoga sequence aimed at harmonizing mental energy and promoting emotional balance. We begin by tuning in with mantra to ground the mind and open a space of inner guidance. A gentle warm up follows to awaken the spine, release stiffness, and prepare the body for deeper energetic work.

The Kriya to Balance the Mind unfolds through a series of rhythmic movements that help balance the hemispheres of the brain and clear mental fog. The highlight of this class is the Shiva Dance, a liberating movement designed to shake out tension, dissolve energetic blocks, and uplift the spirit. This dynamic dance clears stagnation from the body and mind, leaving you lighter, clearer, and more connected to your natural vitality.

We close with a deeply restorative relaxation accompanied by the healing sound of the gong. Its vibration supports release at a cellular level and helps the nervous system settle into balance.
