Beth Webb-Strong

Beth is a forager, educator and community space-holder who believes reconnecting with the land is both personal and political. For the past five years she has been learning directly from hedgerows and woodlands — gathering wild greens in spring, hunting mushrooms in autumn, and cultivating an intimate relationship with the plants that grow freely around us.

Through this practice she has learned to support her own wellbeing with simple, accessible remedies — nourishing infusions for colds, herbal balms for cuts and scrapes, and gentle blends to ease anxiety and emotional overwhelm. Her apothecary of dried wild herbs reflects her belief that healing knowledge is not confined to institutions, but lives in the landscapes we walk through every day.

Alongside her background in teaching, Beth has worked for years in immigration and human rights, supporting people navigating the hostile environment. She brings this same commitment to safety, dignity and deep listening into the circles she holds. Inspired by Nonviolent Communication principles, she creates spaces grounded in the understanding that we are deeply interconnected — with one another and with the earth — and that this connection carries responsibility: to listen, to learn, and to care for the land that sustains us.

Workshop 1

Ground & Gather: Women’s Foraging & Wild Tea Circle

Slow down. Between the tents and the trees, there’s a quieter kind of magic growing. Reconnect with the plants at your feet.

This women’s foraging walk and herbal circle invites you to awaken your senses and discover the wild spring plants growing all around us. Together we’ll learn to recognise them, explore their folklore and healing properties, and reflect on what these resilient plants can teach us.

Back in circle, we’ll blend dried herbs into remedies to take home, guided by scent, intuition and shared plant knowledge. Over warm cups of wild tea, we’ll open a facilitated space inspired by Nonviolent Communication principles, exploring what we want to cultivate this season — in our relationship with the land and in how we show up with each other.

You’ll leave with practical herbal skills, a deeper connection to spring and the land, and a renewed sense of rooted community.
