My name is Andzelika (Gett Devnam). I am a qualified holistic & sports massage therapist and Kundalini Yoga teacher based in Christchurch in Dorset. I am passionate about empowering others to make positive changes to feel balanced through holistic treatments and yoga.

My path to Kundalini yoga started during my first Kundalini Yoga class  when I experienced Kundalini energy to the point I decided to follow that calling and completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. When I first came across Kundalini Yoga I was searching for an alternative method that works effectively to ease symptoms of trauma and PTSD. Kundalini Yoga works directly on the endocrine system bringing balance to body, mind and spirit. This holistic approach and effectiveness of Kundalini Yoga to restore glandular balance became something that intrigued me as it is a powerful technology of working through the body with emphasis on spirit to realize our true, inner potential. 

I recharge best in nature and I believe outdoor location supports body`s healing abilities by nature resourcing therefore I often practise yoga on the beach or in the forest.

I also trained as a Cacao Ceremony Facilitator discovering a healing power of movement medicine. My journey was deeply influenced by 5 Rhythms and I share a passion for dancing being an Ecstatic dance enthusiast and attending conscious dance events. 

Workshop 1

Kundalini Yoga with Geet Devnam 

This is a physical and energetic kriya designed to strengthen the nervous system to be able to withstand the pressure of time. Living in the Aquarian Age can be challenging and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with demands of everyday life.

This kriya works on two common problems nowadays due to stress and speed of life: locked pelvis and shoulders. 

A core part of this set involves shaking which interacts with the parasympathetic nervous system to create positive change. This lively workout combines active, repetitive movements and deep breathwork leaving you renewed helping shake off the stress of the modern world maintaining a strong nervous system to handle stress response under

the pressure of the times. It helps to build physical and mental strength as well as resilience.

My classes are open to all abilities, no previous experience is necessary. After tuning in with Adi Mantra and Mangala Charn mantra there is a warm-up followed by Kriya which is a designed set of postures. The class ends with a relaxation part to complete the practice.

Workshop 2

Kundalini Yoga – Heart opening Kriya – Living from the heart

This Kundalini Yoga class focuses on releasing held energy around the heart and opening to love, compassion, and kindness.

Moreover this practice helps to restore a  deep connection with your inner self and open your heart to live from the heart.

This Kundalini yoga class works directly with the heart area both physically and energetically.  On a physical level, it opens and strengthens the muscles of the upper back, chest and neck area strengthening arms. On an energetic level this kriya opens, clears and balances the heart chakra supporting healing of the heart. An open and clear heart centre helps us feel more connected to life and to others allowing us to live from the heart.

Benefits:

 – It opens the heart centre associated with love, compassion and forgiveness

 – Increases compassion and sensitivity 

 – Creates an open loving feeling having a  calming effect so you can be more in the present and experience your feeling more clearly.
