Misstery Weaver

Misstery Weaver (Jenny) is an embodied facilitator and rope educator offering somatic, consent-led workshops that invite slowness, presence, and connection. Her work weaves together rope as a grounding medium, nervous-system awareness, and ritual structure, creating spaces where participants can explore sensation and relationship at the pace of their own bodies.

Rooted in trauma-informed principles and deep consent, Misstery’s facilitation is invitational rather than directive, prioritising choice, safety, and autonomy at every step. Rope is approached not as performance or spectacle, but as a supportive material — a way to listen, anchor, and arrive more fully in the present moment.

With a background in community care and embodied practice, Misstery Weaver creates containers that are warm, accessible, and thoughtfully held, welcoming both beginners and those with prior experience into gentle exploration.

Content & Emotional Awareness Note

For those with experiences of physical or relational trauma, certain sensations — such as pressure, restriction, or focused attention in the body — may feel activating.  You are always invited to move at your own pace, to pause, adapt, or opt out of any part of the experience. There is no expectation to participate beyond what feels safe and right for you.  This is a clothed, non-sexual, self-led space, focused on awareness, choice, and personal exploration.

This workshop offers a slow, guided exploration of rope as a tool for grounding, connection, and embodied awareness through self-tying practices. While the space is held with care, consent, and trauma-informed principles, working with the body, sensation, and gentle forms of containment may bring up emotional responses for some participants.

If you have questions or would like to check in before attending, you are very welcome to reach out.

Workshop 1

Rope as Grounding: A Somatic Exploration

This workshop offers a gentle, consent-led introduction to rope as a somatic and grounding practice. Guided by breath, slowness, and nervous-system awareness, participants are invited to explore rope not as performance or spectacle, but as a supportive material — a way to feel held, present, and connected.

The session will include grounding practices, clear consent frameworks, and simple rope-based explorations that prioritise choice, safety, and listening to the body’s own pace. No prior rope experience is needed, and all activities are invitational, with options to observe, modify, or opt out at any time. All levels of experience are welcome.

This is a clothed, non-sexual workshop with no suspension or advanced techniques. It is designed to be accessible, spacious, and welcoming, and aims to leave participants feeling calm, centred, and resourced.

Participants are encouraged to bring curiosity, comfort, and respect for their own boundaries. Rope will be provided. Places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
