Lady’s Mantle & Hedgerow Herbalist
Lady’s Mantle:
Aïcha Marie is the founder of Lady’s Mantle and a dedicated health and well-being ND facilitator. Passionate about holistic wellness, she leads workshops and retreats that help people connect with themselves, nature, and each other.
Her journey began as a team-building instructor for her father’s outdoor activity company, where she learned the power of shared experience and connection. Growing up in a family rooted in herbalism, Aïcha learned to identify and forage plants from a young age, and now weaves their practical uses and symbolic meanings into her work.
With her blend of neurodivergent-informed insight, hands-on experience, and commitment to holistic well-being, Aïcha creates safe, nourishing spaces that inspire reflection, growth, and connection.
Hedgerow Herbalist:
Lynn May is a herbalist, naturopath, iridologist and Qigong teacher based in Dorset. She weaves traditional herbal medicine with mindful movement to help people reconnect with their bodies, soften stress and support natural healing.
Through her practice, Hedgerow Herbalist, Lynn offers consultations, workshops and seasonal Qigong sessions that encourage grounding, balance and a deeper relationship with nature. Her approach is gentle, heart-led and rooted in the belief that everyone can access simple tools to support their own wellbeing.
Workshop 1
For Those Who Feel Everything — Neurodivergent & Friends Fire Ceremony: Using Plants as Our Guides
Join a safe, inclusive, neurodivergent-friendly Fire Ceremony with Aïcha, a neurodivergent facilitator. Through sensory and grounding exercises and plant-guided reflection, participants are invited to release what no longer serves them while honouring diverse sensory needs.
Lynn offers a herbalism talk with optional herbal tea, exploring how plants can support neurodivergent wellbeing, alongside a gentle Qigong taster to connect body and energy.
The workshop concludes with a safe, facilitated sharing circle to reflect on neurodivergent experiences, personal insights, and coping strategies.
Come as you are — silence, stimming, and softness are all welcome. Open to neurodivergent individuals, friends, and anyone curious about connecting more deeply with themselves, others, and the wisdom of plants in nature.
Age range: Adults
Length (mins): 120 minutes
Workshop 2
Moving Into Connection: Wood to Fire Qigong & Heart Circle
Late spring is a time of growth, expansion, and new possibilities. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the shift from Wood energy — associated with creativity, direction, and vitality — into Fire energy, which governs the heart, joy, and connection. This workshop invites you to explore this seasonal flow through movement, mindfulness, and relational connection.
We’ll begin with Qigong led by Lynn, using flowing movements to awaken the body, open the chest, and cultivate vitality. After movement, we’ll engage in sharing, connection & meditation guided by Aïcha, offering space to notice what feels alive, ready to grow, or open in your life, without pressure to share beyond your comfort.
Whether you’re new to Qigong, curious about TCM seasonal wisdom, or simply looking to move, breathe, and connect with others in nature, this workshop offers a gentle, playful, and nourishing way to step into your own energy and the collective warmth of the group.
Age range: Adults
Length (mins): 90 minutes
