I sat my first Lodge 11 years ago in the Mountains of Ecuador, and it was there that my passion for these ways truly began. Since then I have continued to work with these traditions across Central & South America as well as Europe & the UK.
Guided by the teachings of the Lakota & the ancient Aztec traditions I aim to create a safe open space for Prayer, Intention, release & celebration. This medicine is deeply rooted in nature & has profoundly deepened my connection to the natural world , and in turn to myself.
It is always a great honour to help facilitate this for others.
Workshop 1 & 2
Sweat Lodge
Sweat lodge ceremony. The sacred sweat lodge is a domed shaped structure crafted by branches of local Hazel & dressed in blankets to create a ‘womb like’ space mirroring that of the womb of Mother Earth.
Stones are heated in the fire outside the lodge and then bought inside where they are blessed with herbs and dowsed in water.
The ceremony consists of voicing our Prayers or Intentions & paying homage to PachaMama through Song.
As well as emotional & spiritual healing, the lodge can bring about great physical benefits.
